Holy Family School PTA
Home Page

The Holy Family PTA encourages collaboration between home and school. We bridge a partnership between the parents and Holy Family to help our children build their faith, hearts, minds and bodies.

We encourage the active participation of our families to assist the school in coordinating activities and fundraising, which directly support our students and their growth.

The Sneaker Strut was a great success!  The children really had a great time, the weather was hot and the ice pops were cold.  We have so far raised approximately $3,000.  If you haven't already done so, please send in your pledge money.  Thanks!

The Moms and Sons had a great time at the (indoor) BBQ and Fun Game Day.  Despite the rainy weather, the moms had sons competed in many fun races, enjoyed some good food and crafts, and had some good laughs together.  Many thanks go to Maggie Ciocco and her committee of parents who made the day a success!

As you sort through your seasonal clothing, keep in mind that we are sponsoring a clothing drive on May 17th during the Masses at both churches
from 8:30-1:00 (sharp). The drive will take place during all Masses at both St. Mary of the Lake and Holy Family churches.

The vendor collects all clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, linens, stuffed animals and hard toys.  All donated items must be placed in bags and brought to the lower parking lot (St. Mary’s) or the grassy area in front of Msgr. Everitt Hall (HFS).  A portion of our earnings will go to the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.  The remaining proceeds will benefit the children of Holy Family School.  Thanks for your support!

The PTA approved two teacher grant requests for this year.  The first grant of $763.00 was awarded to the Middle School religion teachers for their proposal to purchase 30 hardcover Bibles for grades 6-8.  The second grant was awarded to Mrs. Randall, who submitted a request to purchase supplemental educational materials for students requiring in-class support.  Congratulations to these teachers and we look forward to supporting other teacher-driven initiatives next year.  We are thankful for the job that teachers do for our children each and every day.
